We have a passion for all things well-designed and made to last. Antique, industrial and vintage items fit this bill perfectly and so we source any piece that we feel can have a new life as a lamp. Fire extinguishers and fire branches in copper, brass and chrome are a particular favourite as they are not only sturdily constructed, but visually striking in such an array of shapes, sizes and metals. We lovingly convert every lamp by hand in our Suffolk workshop ause antique and vintage parts to extend and enhance each light. Old brass may be incorporated into a design whilst wooden worktop offcuts are turned on our lathe and made into bases in a variety of shapes and styles. We endeavour to re-cycle and upcycle elements wherever we can and our ethos is focussed on sustainable and ethical behaviour. As a small company we can research and source our products and components from companies that share our values. All the electrical elements are sourced from the best producers and we buy British wherever we can. Every lamp is PAT-tested.
If you ever find yourself in the glorious Suffolk countryside, you can visit our studio in Peasenhall to see the products in our retail setting. We’ll be there to greet you, so you can speak to the makers in person. We’re also on e-mail info@georgejuniper.co.uk and phone 01728 660 839 or 0799 388 540 if you’d like to contact us.
