Another bespoke lighting commission for another happy client. The King of the Road head lamp by Lucas is a cherished item of theirs and we sourced this incredible military tripod with brass fittings to show it off in all it’s newly polished glory.
If you have a treasured item that’s languishing in the garage or attic, waiting for a new purpose, then bring it to George Juniper and Co where we can upcycle it into a new and quirky lamp.
We also have a vast array of quality and characterful items in stock from which we can make you a bespoke lamp from fire extinguishers to wool shears, fire branches to wool spools, barrel taps to soda syphons. Why not drop us a line and we can send you some ideas for inspiration.
Best wishes,
Mark & Beth

Nestled into the rolling Suffolk countryside you will discover Peasenhall and the home of George Juniper & Co. Our studio is situated at the heart of the village in the old Angel public house, where we showcase our bespoke lighting products. It’s only a short hop from the studio to our workshop and client area, allowing interested customers a ‘behind the scenes’ experience and a chance to view the vast array of stock that can be custom made to your own specifications. The studio also showcases a carefully curated selection of decorative treasures alongside our bespoke lighting.
With an emphasis on eco-design, we craft all the bespoke lighting ourselves; lovingly repurposing obsolete objects whilst constantly sourcing fresh pieces with a strong aesthetic that can be reimagined as beautiful lamps. Brass, copper and chrome from redundant pieces are salvaged to extend and enhance our unique lights whilst the bases are individually turned from solid wood worktop off-cuts.
The company is named after Mark’s great-grandfather who was a skilled craftsman. The & Co acknowledges all our fellow crafts people whose products we rely on to finish our lamps so beautifully. We buy all our electrical products from UK retailers and, being keen to support our fellow homegrown talent, we source as many products and tools as we can from British manufacturers such as S Lilley & Son, Birmingham for electrical components and Axminster Tools for our workshop needs. Being an ethical company is as important to us as being a sustainable one and as we grow, we aim to run apprenticeships for local youngsters to learn all the aspects of our business.
Browse the unique collection of pieces in our online shop or get in touch for further ideas and advice via the Contact Us page. We also undertake commissions, some of which can be seen in the Gallery section of this website so don’t despair if you fall in love with an item that’s sold – we can attempt to find a similar piece and tailor-make it for you. Beth and Mark are based at our Peasenhall studio every weekend, so pop in and talk to us about ideas or seek inspiration from our Instagram feed and Facebook page.
