Newly added to the George Juniper & Co range is this fabulous vintage Gyrofoam fire extinguisher lamp by Australian manufacturers Wormald in gorgeous copper and brass.
Slightly smaller than the American and European full size extinguishers at 2 gallons, the unusual engineered brass twist top really sparkles after a good polish. Stamped and marked for 1942, this striking piece also works as a floor standing lamp. Reimagined and re-engineered in our workshop and now ready for a new home.
We have a vast array of quality and characterful items in stock from which we can make you a bespoke lamp from fire extinguishers to wool shears, fire branches to wool spools, barrel taps to soda syhpons. Why not drop us a line and we can send you some ideas for inspiration.
Best wishes,
Mark & Beth

Beth and Mark combine eclectic backgrounds in theatre, television, film, advertising and engineering. We’ve brought our accumulated creativity and skills to a long-held love of design and interiors.
With an emphasis on eco-design, we craft all the bespoke lighting ourselves in our Suffolk workshop; lovingly repurposing old fire branches, extinguishers and the like into beautiful lamps.
We hate waste, so brass, copper and chrome from redundant pieces are salvaged to extend and enhance our unique lights whilst the bases are individually turned from solid wood worktop off-cuts. Breathing new life into these beautiful, but often obsolete items not only has a positive environmental impact, but brings that ethos into your home for you to treasure and enjoy for years to come.
Browse the unique collection of pieces in our online shop or get in touch for further ideas and advice via the Contact Us page. We also undertake commissions, some of which can be seen in the Gallery section of this website so don’t despair if you fall in love with an item that’s sold – we can attempt to find a similar piece and tailor-make it for you.
George Juniper & Co also showcase a curated selection of decorative treasures alongside our bespoke lighting in our retail space in the picturesque village of Peasenhall, which has a wonderful selection of places to eat and shop and a large group of peacocks to admire.
eth and Mark are based at our Peasenhall studio every weekend, so pop in and talk to us about ideas or seek inspiration from our Instagram feed and Facebook page. You can also catch Mark in the workshop behind our studio during the week.
